It’s nearly 4 yrs to the day that we first started talking to each other as well.

Just letting you know that I am still here.   I have a few new articles to publish.  Alot of earthship type stuff.  A lot more about astrology and me.  Some tinnitus type stuff.   A lot more about me in general.  I am also in the process of setting up several other blogs.

Thanks for being patient.  I just have a lot of things I am dealing with that at the moment.

Many years ago, I was reading an article on a man that had designed eco friendly homes that were covered in earth, and were not to dissimilar to that of the hobbit homes that were featured in the lord of the ring movies.

I think I was reading about it in a magazine whilst in a waiting room or something.   A completely awesome idea, and this was way before Grand Designs was on the TV.  I think the plan was to build a small town using this eco-dome style technology. They were designed by Roger Dean.   And he did a lot of crazy art work back in the 70′s.  And you know how crazy the 70′s were.

That’s when I was born.

Anyway, I remembered what it was called the other day….Willowater.   So I did a little google and found what I could.  There were a few blogs that I found on it, and people that had reviewed it and seen the buildings.  But sadly that is all I can find on it.

What happened to this clever idea?   In a country where everything is ruled and governed my regulations and rules, would something that does not fit the modern concept of what is acceptable architechure in the UK nowadays.

Well, with more people pushing for sustainable and eco friendly buildings for the new age, like the Brighton Earthship, I cannot believe that no-one invested or followed up on this. There are people doing earth covered homes, earthships, strawbale homes and all that jazz, why has Willowater not taken off?   I honestly welcome comments and explanations.  Seriously.  If you know, post a comment.

It is my guess that this has happened because the Home for life domain has expired.   And I cannot anything but these blogs on the internet.

So yeah, this is me.  In the flesh.  I have been studying my birth chart for a while now, and just astrology in general.  Click on the image of the chart below and it will open it up full size, then just ht the back button on your browser to come back to this article

This is my birth chart.  It helped me learn a lot about myself.  Understand things a little better.  Originally, I got into it because I wanted to understand the relationship that I have with Kelli under the running blog of ‘The Greatest Love Story Ever Told‘.

When learning about me and my chart, it explained a lot about who I was, and the conflicts that I had with myself and with others.

I always figured that when I used to read these books that described cancerians, that I was not a typical one.  They made cancers out to be some kind of mum loving wetfish.  And while I love my family, I’m certainly not clingy, mushy, or overly emotional.  I would say that I am romantic, but more about the unspoken/unsaid gestures, and I like the same back.  I like the mental connection of romance rather than over dramatic gestures.

The key things I would say that stand out for me are my Sun square Moon, my Mars Square Saturn, and my sun square pluto.

Sun Square Moon

I have read that there is a lot of disharmony with people that have this, but I actually don’t mind it now.  When I first read that I had all these squares within my chart, I was a little depressed that I had supposedly been affected with all of these alignments, but I actually know a lot of people who have a lot of harmony between their sun and moon, and I sometimes see them as people that do not care as much.  2 of my best mates have sun sq moon, and I can relate to their disharmony, but they seem to be more driven than my friends whose planets are at peace with each other.

Mars Square Saturn

Ooh, the bain of my life.  When I first read my chart, I was firstly concerned with my Sun and Moon clash, but it seems apparently, that my greatest cross is having my Mars square my Saturn.  I think the easiest way for me to put this is as follows:

I have all the drive, energy and enthusiasm, but when it comes to actually doing something about it, I guess I am lazy, or I put it off, or I give up at the first hurdle.  For someone who wants to achieve a lot in this life, I find this really difficult to deal with.  Also I find it hard because of my moon in Aries wanting to take charge and lead everything, especially when frustrated.   For me to get anything of any significance done takes a lot of effort and I see progress a lot slower than others.  Would that make my achievements more worthy, because the first battle I have with myself?

Sun Square Pluto

Now this one is the one area that I can read up on and it still not make any sense to me.  I know that it is about looking deep and rediscovering myself, but I think I am at peace with myself on the whole, so I am not sure if this is an ongoing battle or I just have to dig deep every time the shit hits the fan.

Grand Trine  (fire) with 2 kites (Libra and Gemini)

Apparently having a trine in fire is good.  Something to do with natural gifts that we do not use, or that we take for granted because they come so easily.   The fact that I have 2 kites should in theory give my trine focus, but I am still struggling to understand this gift that I have.   I would say that I am gifted when it comes to being creative and everyone is always saying that I should do something with it.  I think that sounds like a trine in fire.  But I don’t know how to harness the positives in my trine and kites, or even what they are.

Astrology – The Beginning.

I actually got into astrology because a lot of what I had read about me didn’t seem to fit.   Also after meeting Kelli on line and feeling so strongly about her, I decided to look at my history of women to see if there was a pattern, or a type that I had gone for.   So I went through all my previous girlfriends, crushes, infatuations and passing attractions, and got all their birth-charts (cancer = tenacious).    So what did I discover?

Most of them were either cancers or aquarian’s.   On studying my chart, it made sense that I found Aquarian’s attractive as they fall in my 5th house (Fun, creativity, sex, short relationships) and why they had never worked out. And maybe the connection with the cancerian ones is just a common bonding.  Either that or I was looking for Kelli maybe, and just picking up on similarities.  Who knows.

It also made sense the conflict between the same and the free.

You see, I’m a cancer and we are all home loving/building peeps and creating a family-type unit.   This is amplified by the fact that my cardinal T-cross is missing in my 4th House, so there is a ‘need’ to complete the cross by having a ‘home’ family.

Venus in Gemini

But in conflict with that, my Venus is in Gemini, which is all flighty, flirty (not good at serious relationships/commitment), with my Aries moon (independence) and having my 4th house in Sagittarius (erratic and random home life?), there is a constant fight with me.

The Venus thing adds a little weight to the fact that I have slightly fear commitment in case I was to get bored and then leave someone when the fire burns out (Aries moon- instant/BAM!!), but all of this conflicts the cancer in me.  Dammit.  Apparently I just want a woman who is fun, chatty and always keeps changing, and always keeps me interested.  Is this like re-inventing yourself?  I have also always gone for intelligent witty girls, rather than all the drop dead gorgeous ones.  Also liking tomboy type women is a Venus in Gemini trait, which explains why a lot the girls I liked were lesbians).

I think the most striking thing about Venus in Gemini was the attraction of foreign women.  I have always ‘pricked up’ my ears when I heard a foreign accent, and maybe the Aries moon (fire) explains my love for redhead girls.  Who knows.

There was a trip to America.   That had good and bad points.

There was unemployment, signing on    , employment and then ANOTHER offer of employment.

There was the beginnings of all things entrepreneurial.

I also forgot to re-attach my blog domain mapping to this account.  Unbeknown to me, I had actually achieved page ranking in Google for my blog on Kelli and I, under certain keywords.  And then I lost all my ratings, and all existence of the blog.  So I have had to learn the hard way about a few of these feats.

I’m am fascinated by earthships, and I have been reading up on them for the past year or so, and has fuelled a love for alternative architecture.

I found out that they were showing the build of one on Grand Designs last night, and I gladly missed my teams dismal second half performance on the other channel (sorry West Ham, but it was).

So what were my thoughts on it?

Hmmmm

Well, I thought the guy did REALLY well to have it looking as normal a house as he could. It was a far cry from the crazy ass idea’s that exist already in the New Mexican desert.   I think I liked the fact that the interior was also heavy on the wood side of things.

Some really nice touches and finishes. Nice eco project for the volunteers to get there hands on.  Very Green!!!

Seeing as most of the materials in his build were reclaimed, I think that is where he spent his money

The one thing that slightly disappointed it for me was the lack of plants.   One the best features about the earthships is that they are fully self sustainable, and growing fruit and veg are equally a part of that as the build.  So I was quite surprised that they left that bit out.

They also went for a different toilet approach than the ones that are currently in most earthships, but I quite liked the fact that his loo was quirky and different.

And the feature what was NOT in a regular design was all the corsitina doors that he had on the front.   I thought these were brilliant.

Spreading the word about Earthships

I have been trying to do just that since visiting the Brighton Earthship, back in November AND August of last year.  I keep company with hippies, festival goers and rockheads a like, and this is right up their street.

Everyone else should do the same.

The Greatest Love Story Ever Told?

I wasn’t too sure whether to introduce such a personal story with a strong title like this, especially since the outcome is still pending, but I thought that I would. I mean seriously…….The Greatest Love Story Ever Told? Although I am pretty sure of the outcome on this one, I also know this is quite rash of me to write this without having a finalised outcome.  I know in my heart that I have met the person I am supposed to spend my life with.  I have not felt like this with another person.  And even if it doesnt work, it will still be the greatest love story that I have ever been involved with.
I think this is a story of twin-flame destiny, written in the stars or maybe written by God himself.

This is not going to be a meaty post. Maybe just a summary. But I think it ties in with some of the posts in the religion section and about the story with Kelli,

I think this history points to how I was always looking for her. Like someone that subconsciously knew I wanted, but could only find little bits of her in other women, and by meeting/being with other women, it helped me piece together the jigsaw in my head, of what I was after, what I was looking for.

So….girls.

I was dead shy with girls. I remember having a crush on a girl I was at school with called Sarah May. We we going out with each other. (does it even count then?). That was when I was 11 years old.

My first real crush was a girl called Sharon Healy when I was 12, and we both went to All Hallows School. She is now called Sian Healy, and I am still very good friends with her to this day. I fancied her for years, maybe 4. She was Irish, and had browny-red hair. The seed was planted. Nothing ever become of it mind you, but hey ho.

From that point onwards, I was quite shy of girls. I wouldn’t know what to say, and figured they would always go for other guys.  I think I was probably quite subconscious.  If I didn’t find them attractive, it was not a problem, but if I did like them, I would think they could sense I liked them.  I don’t think I was comfortable with them knowing I liked them, just in case things moved out of my control, and I guess the only way to control what was happening was to keep everything to myself.

I fancied a girl when I was 17, and at art college. She was a red-head, from South Africa, and a bit of a tom boy. I wrote her a poem, to which was read out loud in her class (thankfully, I was not in her class), and apparently, she ridiculed it.

When I was a few months from 19, I had my first sexual experience with a redhead called Sarah, taller than me, and a bit of a tomboy as well. It didn’t last, but I guess something was accomplished.  We went out for a bit, but I didn’t like that her that much.  We didn’t click and I just thought she was rude and lacking in manners.

From then, I went to University, and had nothing but 1 one-night stand in all my years there.:(  Rubbish.  There was several girls I liked, but nothing became of them. I fancied both women, but I guess they didn’t like me back.

Around ’98 – 99, There was a redhead called Joanne, that I had met down the pub once. She was gorgeous. Short red hair, really cute, and a naturally pretty face.  Lovely smile. I had initially met her when I served her at Burger King, and I remember thinking she was gorgeous, but I had not seen her for a few months after that, before the pub.  After a few months of staring at her shyly from across the room, I got the nerve to talk to her and I shook like I was being fried alive. Damn nerves.  We spoke briefly a few times, but she just stopped going down there and I never saw her again.

’00.  I would say that I was really smitten with a girl called Claire. She was very sweet, and a lot of fun, but I always got the impression she was leading me on, but not following through with her promises. I am not sure that it was love, but I was CRAZY about her.  Very hot and cold.  I had met her briefly when we had worked together at Burgerking, but would met again nearly a year later on a train station platform.  We got on well.  I grew incredibly fond of her, but I was competing for her time and affection with a few other guys (who had muscles and cars etc).  What annoyed me about it all, was I got the impression she liked me, but would use that to play off against other people.

Many years later, I would talk to Claire about the whole period that she was in my life, and how her actions had affected me for the years to come.  But it was amicable and we are still friends now.

In 2001, I dated a girl called Gill, on and off, for a year.  Very petite Scottish girl, whom I had met briefly, when she had dated a friend of mine a long time ago.  We got on really well, and I am still friends with her (as I am with all of the women I have dated/been with), but that didn’t work out.  Why?  I don’t know.  The first time we split up, I was gutted and the second time not so much.  Between the 2 periods of dating, I had fancied another girl that used to drink down my pub.  She was called Jana (pronounced Yarna).  She was from the Czech Republic, and I flirted with her like my life depended on it.   But I was always blown out by her.  I had known her for a long time, and when I started dating Gill, she seems a little upset.  Despite the fact, she kept blowing me out.  Maybe she just liked the attention I gave her.

There was a girl that I had met online called Caroline that I flew to New York to see, but nothing materialised there.  I had met her over the internet, and we did get on.  I was curious as to whether there was anything in it.  Turns out…….there wasn’t.  Although I do still keep in contact with her.  I like the way her head works I guess.

I dated a girl briefly called Kim when I was travelling around the world.  She was from Northern Ireland.  I guess we were just seeing each other for a few months and had slept together a few times.  She was nice, and we got on well.  She had some laugh on her, I remember that much.  She cried when I had to leave the country.  I tried to meet up with her when were both back in the UK, but she did not seem interested.

I was casually seeing a girl over here for a bit, but she was a lot younger than I was.  We fooled around a bit, but I didn’t feel comfortable with what was happening, and maybe how I was treating her.  So that ended.

Shortly after that, I had met Kelli.  The rest is history…..

Reflections

I think the examples above are a general summary.  There were a few more passing crushes.  A lot of foreign women.  And  few more redheads. During this period, I had begun to study astrology, an I had been looking at my birth chart, and particularly studying synastry astrology, trying to look for patterns in the woman that I had fancied over the years.  A lot of them had been aquarius’s, and cancers.  There was the odd other sign here and there.  Ironically, not many pisces women, whom fall into my 7th house (the house of commitment, long term relationships, partnerships and marriage).

I have recently looked into this and done an article on my birthchart
